
What is the Banfield Charitable Trust?
The Banfield Charitable Trust is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit public charity that provides opportunities for our team members, doctors, clients and the public to make a difference in the lives of Pets. By encouraging collaboration between The Banfield Pet Hospitals and local community-based organizations, the Charitable Trust brings together the people, skills, equipment and commitment to advance veterinary medicine and provide a better quality of life for Pets and their families.
The Charitable Trust provides assistance, support and hope to Pets and families through our programs:
- Community Grants given twice annually to nonprofit organizations and educational institutions across the country, to support a variety of Pet related programs
- Campbell Family Scholarships for undergraduate students with Pet care experience and interest in pursuit of higher education related to pet care
- Banfield Charitable Trust Wellness Plans distributed through Banfield Pet Hospitals, reaching over 3,000 families each year with free preventive Pet healthcare
